1. What is the purpose of this website?
To create a place on the world wide web where school nurses can turn for reliable, unbiased, professional, and academic information.

2. Who are you?
My name is Lorinda Dishington Ortiz. I am a school nurse in Massachusetts and I also the owner of a website design company called Lorinda Web Design. This website started off as a small project for graduate school and will hopefully grow into a resource website for school nurses around the world.

3. How do I submit something for publication?
All you need to do is send a short description of the material you'd like to submit to and wait to hear back from us. For more detailed information visit the Submit Your Work page.

4. I sent you something, how come it wasn't published?
In order to maintain a professional and academic reference website for school nurses, everything submitted undergoes evaluation by a peer review advisory team comprised of school nurses from across the country. It is a team decision whether something is published on the site. Sometimes it just isn't the right fit for the site. We will do our best to notify you, but please understand we receive a lot of emails and submissions. Feel free to send us a follow up email if necessary.
